Our Team

The founder and acting director of Health Partnership, Arlie earned her nursing degree in 1974 and practiced in a variety of settings including hospitals, out-patient care and special education. After 20 years, major shifts in the healthcare system were changing the quality and delivery of care. Arlie saw firsthand how families were struggling to understand these changes and access the care they needed. The concept of Faith Community Nursing was familiar to Arlie and she realized this type of program addressed the very healthcare challenges that families were facing. With a sense of calling that was rooted in her own Christian faith, Health Partnership was launched in 1998.

Marilyn received a BS in Public Health Nursing in 1973. She served as a school nurse with the Anaheim City School District for 20 years and there found that many children lacked the support systems they needed for physical, emotional and spiritual health. She experienced satisfaction in advocating for those children and their families. In 2004, she joined Health Partnership’s staff as a Faith Community Nurse, where she uses her experience and skills to advocate for the health and wellbeing of the broader community. Marilyn has served on the Board of Directors for Shelter’s Right Hand, auxiliary to Women and Children’s Crisis Center, since 2003.
